GM Locking Fuel Door “Upgrade”!
Picture Credit: Corvette Blogger Earlier this year, Corvette owners discovered that GM had quietly eliminated the locking fuel-filler door from C8 Corvettes midway through the 2026 model year. Since the feature previously locked and unlocked with the car, its disappearance looked like another cost-cutting move. But Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder says there was more behind the decision.
