E-Ray Versus Ferrari F8 & Lamborghini Huracan Evo
The new E-Ray is still not available to order, but reviewers are getting review cars to “test out”.
Using Jason Cammisa’s signature time-freeze video technique to show the outcome of a ¼ mile race, and explain how it happened, by walking back through slow-mo time at the finish line, is exactly what GM was hoping reviewers would show, the $104,295 (starting price coupe) E-Ray versus other high-performance sports cars. In this case, the E-Ray is pitted against a Ferrari F8 ($283,950 starting price) and Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD ($248,295 starting price).
I don’t want to give away the winner, but let’s say the “competition” has some explaining to do to their potential customers.

This 1968 Plymouth GTX was acquired by the current owner approximately nine years ago and subsequently refurbished. The car is powered by a 440ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in dark blue over blue upholstery. Equipment includes body-color 14″ steel wheels with hubcaps, HD four-wheel drum brakes, a four-barrel carburetor, a dual exhaust system, chrome bumpers, and a push-button radio. This GTX comes with many show awards and judging sheets, a Chrysler Production broadcast sheet, a Galen Govier report, 2014 dyno results, and refurbishment records.
