Corvette Racing powered to a podium finish at the Monterey SportsCar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on May 11, 2025, thanks to a strong performance by Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims in the No. 3 Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The duo clinched third place, marking their second podium in just three GTD PRO races this season.<\/p>\n
In a rare flag-to-flag green race with no cautions, strategy and execution were critical. The No. 3 car delivered flawless pit stops and held strong despite a few close encounters while fighting through the pack.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Corvette felt great, and the team did a fantastic job,\u201d said Sims. \u201cGiven the pace, third was where we deserved to be. Pratt Miller had the car dialed in perfectly.\u201d said Sims.<\/p>\n
This result also marks Corvette Racing\u2019s second consecutive podium finish at Laguna Seca, following last year\u2019s third-place by Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg in the No. 4 Corvette.
