In Miami Beach, Florida, on Monday, September 16, a suspected burglar found himself stuck inside a Corvette, much to the surprise of the car\u2019s owner.<\/p>\n
Julio Solano captured the incident on video as he approached his vehicle, only to discover the would-be thief trapped inside. In the footage, a shocked Solano can be heard saying, \u201cMy brother, this is not your car. This is my car.\u201d<\/p>\n
The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Ravesh Rabindranauth, signaled for Solano to open the door, but Solano replied, \u201cNo, you can\u2019t get out. We\u2019re calling the cops.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to reports, Rabindranauth was unable to exit the car due to its \u201cunconventional door mechanism.\u201d Eventually, he was freed and promptly arrested by the authorities.<\/p>\n
Rabindranauth was charged with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.<\/p>\n

Never owning a 50-year-old vehicle before, I needed to do some research before committing to such a large purchase. I called a few different Corvette shops, including one near my house, and none were interested in helping me until I bought a car. A bit counterproductive since there was no way of knowing price points of an engine rebuild, paint job, interior replacement, or any other Corvette specific items in order to figure out if a car for listed sale was at a fair price.<\/p>\n The first time I called Corvette Mike, I got passed through to Richard in the Service Department, & what he wasn\u2019t familiar with, he consulted with the mechanics. I called back 3 or 4 times after, and got more information & knowledge each time. I knew whichever car I purchased, it was going to need a lot of work, so that enabled me to build the costs into my budget & purchase a car.<\/p>\n When I finally received a 1970 Corvette purchased from out of state, Corvette Mike is where I brought it. I anticipated it taking a while, but I had confidence in the mechanic who was assigned to my car, Scott, that everything would be done carefully & with great detail. I periodically went & checked on it & Scott went over everything that was being done & why, in addition to giving me suggestions & options.<\/p>\n Also have to mention the staff at the front counter. They were all cheerful, friendly, & accommodating over the phone & in person.<\/p>\n With all this said, I highly recommend Corvette Mike for anything Corvette related as well as any vintage Chevrolet muscle\/sports car.. Every Corvette has a story, but not all of them are told. Sometimes you have to dig a little, sometimes they unfold right before your eyes\u2026..I had been searching for a C3 for quite some time, and my dad passed away expectedly. While driving to my parent\u2019s house one day to put his affairs in order, I experienced a spiritual moment. I was passing past my dad\u2019s favorite coffee shop, and what should pull up next to me but a white 1975 Corvette with a luggage rack identical to the one in an ad that was under consideration halfway across the country. My dad was talking to me, and now I had to go see the car.<\/p>\n
