The incident occurred at Pismo Beach on California\u2019s Central Coast. It\u2019s the only coastal beach in California to be legally driven on, making it a popular spot for weekend getaways. Typically, folks drive 4\u00d74 trucks, quads, and motorcycles onto the sand, but one person thought it wise to drive their Corvette near the waterline and get thoroughly stuck.<\/p>\n

The video shows\u00a0<\/a>the Corvette stuck to its frame, its rear wheels spinning helplessly. A crowd gathered around, trying to free it from the rising tide. In the video, it looked dire for the \u2018Vette, with the tide licking the passenger side of the car. But not all was lost, as a commenter stated that the car was pulled out before things got terminal.<\/p>\n

The reason I am so jazzed about my new Corvette is because it reminds me in some ways of my 69\u2026bought the 69 in Toledo, Ohio with 2800 miles (a demo) for $3,850 plus tax and license \u2026$4,100. The lady at the Credit Union lent me the entire amount \u2026she \u201ctook pity on me \u201cas I was going into the USAF very shortly and she figured I would be a good risk\u2026And she knew where to find me! I originally was assigned to March Air Force Base, Riverside, Ca., and then to Wiesbaden, Germany.
