Corvette Joins Forces with TF Sport<\/p>\n

It is being reported by James Newbold on\u00a0MotorSport.com<\/a>\u00a0that British sportscar outfit TF Sport will end its long association with Aston Martin and switch brands to campaign the Z06 GT3.R in the 2024 World Endurance Championship.<\/p>\n Tom Ferrier\u2019s group plans to run two of the new-for-2024 Z06 GT3.R, which replaces the C8.R that won the Le Mans 24 earlier this month.<\/p>\n Drivers for the program have yet to be announced, but it is likely that Corvette factory drivers will be part of the line-up.<\/p>\n Z06 GT3.R program manager Christie Bagne said TF Sport \u201cshowcases the elements we were looking for in a team\u201d to partner with. \u201cWe look forward to working with Tom and his team to make the Z06 GT3.R a success in the WEC and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024 and beyond,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Announcing the news, Ferrier expressed his gratitude to Aston Martin before explaining that \u201cthe time is right for a new challenge in the WEC\u201d. \u201cI am thrilled to have the opportunity to represent such an iconic brand on the world stage,\u201d said Ferrier. \u201cCorvette Racing has an immense history at Le Mans and we will be looking to continue that run of success.\u201d<\/p>\n Win a 2023 Corvette Z06<\/a><\/p>\n The drawing for this American Super Car will happen on September 30th.
