C8 Experiencing More Constrained Options<\/h3>\n

This week started off with Chevrolet announcing that the High Wing Spoiler is no longer available due to supply constraints. Now Chevy added the engine appearance and lighting package to the upcoming containment list.<\/p>\n

The High Wing spoiler has proved popular ever since the C8 Corvette hit the market, so much so that Chevrolet had to stop offering the spoiler just a few months after C8 production started in early 2020. It wasn\u2019t until January 2021 that the spoiler became available again. Fast forward 12 months and supply issues have forced GM\u2019s hand yet again.<\/p>\n

The engine appearance and lighting package constraint is the result of the supplier discontinuing carbon fiber operations effective January 31st. It is unclear if or when Chevy will find a new supplier.\u00a0<\/p>\n
