You may have been reading how the new C8 Corvette has been attracting a much younger group of buyers, and this may be true, but the new Mid-Engined Corvette is not just for kids, as Chuck Cook will tell you.<\/p>\n

Cook is not new to Corvettes, as he has owned 3 before buying his 4th for his 90th birthday; a shinny new Torch Red C8 Coupe. \u201cThis is my birthday present to myself,\u201d Cook said to local Florida newspaper Daily Commercial. \u201cI\u2019ve owned Corvettes since 1981 when I bought my first one. This makes my fourth one in my lifetime. I can\u2019t wait until the pandemic is over so I can get this to all the car shows.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cook, who spent four years serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Korea working on fighter jets, so it is not hard to see where he developed his love for great sports cars.<\/p>\n
