Overall Results – 2025 Monterey Auctions

Monterey 2025 is in the books, and the results are in! Thanks to Hagerty for crunching the early numbers. Here are the standouts:
Bonhams staged an incredible comeback at The Quail, surging from $12.5M in 2024 to $44.2M this year with a 96% sell-through rate. A huge turnaround driven by major collections and smart no-reserve offerings.
RM Sotheby’s led the pack with $163.8M in sales and an $1.2M average price per car. The headline was the one-off Ferrari Daytona SP3 “Tailor Made” charity lot, which stunned at $26M.
Gooding climbed to $119.1M, highlighted by the record-breaking $25.3M sale of a 11961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Spider California Competizione.
Broad Arrow slipped to $49.8M, off 19% from 2024. Their top lot was a Maserati MC12 Spyder at $5.2M.
Mecum Sell-through rate was actually up, but the price dropped 25% year over year to $37.5M, though their top car, a Lamborghini Miura P400 S, brought nearly $2M.
Bottom line: Monterey 2025 showed strength at the top of the market with big wins.

Maria C’s 1969 Convertible
I bought this 1969 Corvette in 1977 and it was actually the color green. I always envisioned corvettes being red so I had it painted and fixed it all up to be in great condition. From there I started entering my car into numerous shows and events, meeting new people, winning countless trophies and starting traditions. I took my family to Corvettes at Carlisle every year where my son developed a love for corvettes also (now owning 2 himself). My daughter, who is in this picture, drove around in a Barbie Corvette for most of her childhood. It’s been so much fun traveling and watching Corvettes evolve. I would love to visit Corvette Mike’s and bring along my family for another new experience! (Hopefully wearing my new Corvette Mike hat!!).

This was 1 of only 300 cars brought into the U.S. So, on top of it being beautiful, it could also be a future collectible!
