Official 2023 C8 Z06 Configurator Is Now Live While Chevy will let you configure your perfect 2023 Z06, unfortunately, the new Corvette Z06 is no longer available to order. In August, GM Authority reported that the 2023 Corvette Z06 production was heavily constrained by supplier delays. Since then, supplier setbacks have deteriorated even further, with GM no longer accepting orders for the new Corvette Z06. 2023 Corvette Production Update

Chevrolet has not published official production numbers, but Corvette Blogger has used VIN numbers to calculate where they stand as of October 14th. Using the VIN’s reveals that 14,718 base coups and convertible C8’s have rolled off the assembly line, another 840 of the 70th-Anniversary Edition, and only 31 Z06’s (17 “regular” Z06s and 14 70th Anniversary Editions) have been built and are on a quality control hold at this time. Corvette Racing is splitting the team into two parts in response to rule changes

In response to all the rule changes by IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship for the 2023 racing year, Corvette Racing is expected to go from 2 cars per race down to single entry per race.
